Agrati accelerates Sustainability: Renewable Energy Agreement in France with Iberdrola

Agrati takes an important step towards environmental sustainability by signing a new Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Iberdrola, a global leader in renewable energy production. The agreement will provide green energy to Agrati’s three production sites in France, contributing to a significant reduction in CO2 emissions.

Green Energy for Agrati France

Starting from 2025, the Florembeau wind farm, located in the commune of Créquy (Pas-de-Calais) and operated by Iberdrola, will supply Agrati with 21 GWh of renewable energy annually. This supply will cover 53% of the energy needs of the three production sites located in Fourmies, Vieux Condé, and Avressieux (Val Guiers).

Sustainability and Environmental Impact

The low-carbon energy will reduce CO2 emissions at Agrati’s French sites by 33%, equivalent to a reduction of 2,200 tons per year. Lorenzo Zaniboni, COO Europe at Agrati, stated: “This agreement marks a significant milestone in our sustainability journey. Powering our production sites with renewable energy not only reduces CO2 emissions but also demonstrates our long-term commitment to environmental responsibility. We firmly believe that investing in green energy is essential to building a sustainable future for our industry.”

A Model of Sustainable Innovation

Agrati’s commitment to innovation and sustainability is an integral part of its global strategy. With 570 employees and a production area of 84,000 m² in France, the company continues to invest in advanced technological solutions for the production of fastening systems and mechanical components for the automotive sector.
